Installing 
Before installing a TankSmart® monitoring device. The operating environment is a key consideration. All TankSmart® devices should be deployed with a full and unobstructed view of the sky in all directions to maximise transmission success on every satellite pass.
Physical obstacles including trees, buildings, and poles will block signals and may degrade system performance, and antennas should be mounted externally with suitable clearance where the device is housed within, or near to, metal or concrete structures.
Initial Setup
- Scan the first QR Code in the box to activate your subscription.
- Set a new password by clicking the link in the password set up email from Gasbot
- Download and login to the Bushmans app using your new password
- Before travelling on site make sure you have the required tools to install the device (see manual). If there is no cellular/internet reception, you can use offline mode (see manual). We recommend activating the device while cellular/internet reception is available.
- Activate your device
- Ensure your NFC is turned on (see manual)
- Follow the steps from the “Add device” option in the Bushmans app.
