Bushmans industrial tanks are suitable for chemical and industrial storage, with tank capacities ranging from 1,000 litres to 46,400 litres. The industrial and chemical setting frequently require tanks that are purpose-built to meet operational specifications and compliance rules. Manufacturing processes often require the use of storage tanks for both water and chemical storage. Water is used in manufacturing in a multitude of different ways including cooling water, water used for washing down, water storage for food production, water storage for cleaning and water used in the manufacturing process. Our industrial and chemical tanks are built to last. The polyethylene material used to build our tanks is Bushman’s own, Sunsmart®. This raw material is widely used in the Australian market because of the unparalleled benefits it offers; providing strength, protection of your tank and it is chemical resistant. Our chemical tank is suitable for storage of ammonia, sodium hypochlorite, hydrochloric acid, chlorine, sulphuric acid, food ingredients and more. SunSmart® is a ‘food grade’ material so our tanks can also be used in food production. Other applications and settings where our industrial tanks are optimal are on the factory floor for storage of cold water, commercial water and food ingredients, in warehouses and for water treatment systems.

Liquid Chlorine Storage

Chlorine is a widely used chemical in areas such as swimming pools, cleaning products and industrial processes. However, it must be stored in a safe way to protect people and the environment. State governments have strict Work Health and Safety requirements for storing chlorine and there are significant penalties for incorrect storage.

Bushmans Chlorine Tanks are made ready to go and come with all the necessary inlet and outlet fittings, including level gauge and vent:

• External liquid level indicator that allows simple and easy management of chlorine levels
• Independent roof mounted vent, 50 mm that provides safe venting of any vapors
• Overflow 90 mm, to enable discharge at ground level in bind and reduces the risk of splashing and leakage outside the binded storage area
• The robust ball valve outlet, 50 mm provides high flow levels
• Screw cap vented lid that is simple and easy to open
• Fixed inlet pipe 50 mm, with a 50 mm inlet valve, with T-piece incorporating a 25 mm drain valve, and a 50 mm male cam-lock. Side mounted riser pipe for easy and safe tanker filling
