Potassium cyanide Storage
BUSHMANS industrial and chemical storage tanks have suitable chemical resistance for Potassium cyanide Storage under a range of conditions. The chemical resistance is based on evaluations we have undertaken to ensure the advanced polyethylene raw material we use to fabricate our tanks meet the applcations requirements.
Chemical storage tanks have their physical properties evaluated and tested in the absence of internal pressure and external mechanical stress at the internationally accepted standard service temperature of 23C. This is a key factor in the design. It is recommended the chemical storage tank colours are opaque, using a base polyethylene that has achieved a hoop design basis of 8.62Mpa and it meets the material requirements of the AS/NZS4766 Chemical Tank standard.

BUSHMANS have had over 21 years experience manufacturing chemical storage tanks. BUSHMANS proven tank design will be able to manage the Potassium cyanide Storage, providing the tank is installed correctly. Flexible connections with fittings that allow for lateral and vertical expansion and contraction of the tank during service are required on the lower third of the side wall. this will reduce stree on the tank walls. Flexible connections will also reduce pump and piping vibration stress on the tank.
