Background
The customer is a national company, based in Melbourne. They offer service and assembly operation for a major national heavy duty automotive business. The markets they operate in include automotive, construction, industrial/locomotive, marine mining, oil and gas, and power generation. They are manufacturers of filtration systems including air, exhaust, diesel emissions, lube, cooling, and hydraulic systems.
Project concept
The client’s challenge was to find a company that would fabricate resistant and durable tanks, so they could store their four different products:
- BENZOIC ACID 16% in PG
- DOBER S-2 SYRUP
- Sodium Hydroxide
- Deionised Water
They also required the tanks to be installed in a bunded area and plumbed into the site systems. Bushmans challenge was to make sure the production manager was 100% involved in the project to guarantee the production line, from powder purchase to oven adjustment was running according to the client’s request.

Bushmans experts studied the area and designed the tanks to fit into the bunded area, respecting the plumbing spaces.
The tanks were manufactured from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) which provides excellent chemical resistance and strength.
The delivery team planned the logistic to drop the tanks with safety, making sure the installation was done correctly to avoid failures in the site operating systems.The client received tanks that were strong and robust providing secure storage of their hazardous chemicals.
